About Doctor McClary
I am a workaholic with a passion for attention to detail when creating the most perfect smile possible. My dedication to every patient means providing high quality, effective orthodontic care that results in beautiful and functional smiles. I am pleased and proud to have treated the most Invisalign patients of any orthodontist in South Carolina and bring that experience to each new Invisalign treatment.

In the Dental Community
Dr. McClary has been practicing orthodontics for thirty years. He became certified in Invisalign in 2002 and has since treated over 650 patients successfully. His interest and enthusiasm for Invisalign resulted in his becoming the first Premier Elite Provider in South Carolina meaning that he is in the top 1% of all providers in the country. He is also involved with the Children’s Rehabilitation Services providing cleft palate treatment. He is a member of numerous dental and orthodontic professional societies and is presently on the staff of Self Regional Hospital. In 2012, Dr. Phil became a member of the Invisalign Speakers Bureau. He is available to give Invisalign presentations to any groups, dental or lay interested in learning more about Invisalign treatment.

Outside the Office
Dr. Phil is married to wife, Dale, an animal lover interior and garden designer. They live with four dogs and three cats. The McClarys are very active with the Humane Society and have hosted many fund-raising events at their home. They have five children- a daughter who is a dental hygienist and sons are a marketing executive with a mobile technology company, a project manager for a construction firm, an IT software specialist, and a dentist. When Dr. Phil has free time, he enjoys golfing, gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
